Theologian Dr Robert Beckford investigates amazing parallels to the Christ story in other faiths, some of them predating Christianity by thousands of years. The Hindu god, Krishna, was conceived by a virgin and his birth was attended by angels, wise men and shepherds. Buddha was also the result of a miraculous birth and visited by wise men bearing gifts. Beckford attempts to unravel the mystery of why there are so many versions of the Christ story across the world and asks which is the real one.

If we look in to the history of India, ancestors were called Dravidians. These Dravidians were none other than south indians. Dravidians were invaded by Aryans who migrated from Pursia gulf. Roughly we can say middle east. They oppressed these Dravidians and forced to follow their traditions and believes. They divided the society into castes and they themselves placed in higher level called as Brahimins. Their work is to implement their ideas in to Dravidians. Dravidians have their own kings and kingdoms. But these Aryans forced Dravidians to accept their kings as heros and worship them as Gods and Godess.
Ok..now if we say there are similarities of Krishna and Jesus, yes there would be chance of keeping Aryans history wwhich is from middle east...implementing their way.
Buddism....is another branch of Hinduism. No wonder of getting birth stories like Jesus.
The uniqueness in Christianity is Jesus is born of Virgin mary and no other so called Gods did.
