| Katie Melua - Concert Under The Sea (October 2nd 2006) | |
It was the stuff of dreams or, perhaps, acid trips: Katie Melua singing Nine Million Bicycles on a stage 303 metres below the sea.
Convinced to perform on the North Sea floor by a gas drilling company celebrating its 10th birthday, the singer set a Guinness World record for the deepest underwater concert ever performed.
Now a documentary of the strange event, which took place last October, has been released on DVD.
And what an event it was. Melua, 22, and her band underwent rigorous safety training while 22 tonnes of equipment was transported by 16 helicopters and three supply ships to the rig and then the whole lot had to be moved to the bottom of the sea.
Then there was the performance. We’re guessing the chart-topping singer had never played to an audience quite like the Statoil staff. Kitted out in hard hats and orange overalls, a few swayed and tapped their feet, while others, unable to abandon their duties, continued working through the concert.
Katie Melua - The Documentary Film: Concert Under The Sea is released on Monday June 28.

| Jason Bermas’ Fabled Enemies (2008) | |
Released 09/01/08
Jason Bermas’ Fabled Enemies has already launched as both a success and a threat against the New World Order system. After topping Google Video as the most watched video in the world one day after being released, it is now nowhere to be found in the ratings list — a key to driving films like its predecessor Loose Change to have literally tens of millions of views online. The films comments and view counts have been seemingly frozen, as the screen shots below demonstrate.
Fabled Enemies is a potent new film that exposes the deep intelligence roots of the so-called hijackers, Osama bin Laden and the international spy ring that helped carry out 9/11, so it is no surprise that its livelihood might be suppressed. The film also throws light on the continuity of government that was operational on 9/11 and is still in power today. It provides a challenging picture of who the real enemy is that is undoubtedly a threat to the establishment. |

| Dream Deceivers - The Story of James Vance & Judas Priest | |
On December 23, 1985, two young men in Reno, Nevada put shotguns to their own heads after drinking and smoking marijuana as they listened to a record by the English rock group Judas Priest. Raymond Belknap shot himself fatally, while the other, James Vance, was grossly disfigured.
Their parents, claiming that subliminal messages in the heavy metal band's songs mesmerized the boys into their bizarre suicide pact, filed suit against CBS Records. Centered around this non jurored trial, DREAM DECEIVERS looks at this tragedy through interviews with Vance, his and Belknap's parents, other Reno "metalheads", and members of Judas Priest.
Plastic surgeons tried all they could to restore what was left of Jay's face, but were only able to restore his ability to eat and breathe - the disfigurement was too severe. Jay returned home to live with his parents between hospital visits and would ride his bicycle around town shocking people with his grotesque disfigurement.
Harmony Korine: I used to sneak into the NYU library and they had a copy of it and I would watch it. It gave me the strangest feeling. Just the images of those two kids listening to Stormtroopers of Death, driving around Reno deserts drinking Miller-Lite. Fucking blowing their brains out, listening to Judas Priest backwards. And that guy being interviewed with this face that's completely blown off... It was so eerie." |

| Aaron Russo Interview '06 (America: Freedom to Fascism) | |
Video and description taken directly from http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com. Please visit the website for MUCH more information on other such topics and interviews.
"Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, Aaron Russo began promoting rock and roll shows at local theaters while still a high school student. From there, he worked for his family's business, opened a night club in Chicago where he helped create the careers of such legendary acts as Led Zeppelin, The Who, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. No stranger to success, Aaron was the first Hollywood Producer to command $1 million for his services, with titles such as 'Trading Places' and 'The Rose' after a seven year partnership with Bette Midler, whom he managed to become the superstar she now is.
Aaron has now stepped out and produced a radical new movie called 'America: From Freedom to Fascism' and it has received standing ovations in theatres from all around the country in its test marketing. Destined to be one of this years great movies, he takes things way further than Michael Moore and proves that the there is nothing in the tax code that says you have to pay tax on your labor.
Now it's time for you to decide for yourself. Do we stand up for our constitutional rights or do we bury our heads in fear from political and social pressure." |

| The Fog of War | |
Robert S. McNamara discusses his experiences and lessons learned during his tenure as Secretary of Defense under John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson. He talks about his work as a bombing statistician during World War II, his brief tenure as president of Ford Motor Company, and the Kennedy administration's triumph during the Cuban Missle Crisis. However, the film focuses primarily on his failures in Vietnam. The theme of the film are his "eleven lessons" learned during this time. Some of these include improving military efficiency, understanding your enemy, and the frustrations of trying to deal with (and unsuccessfully trying to change) human nature. |
